Store Policies

Ordering & Shipments:
All orders are subject to 1 day processing time and availability of stock.

In the event of a product selection being out of stock, we uphold an obligation to ship the back order product the same or next available shipping day when stock reaches our facility. Back orders are at times subject to manufacturer supply, production timing, weather, and 3rd party restrictions. In extreme circumstances product may take 2-3 weeks for delivery to our facility. Orders containing back ordered items are generally not split in an effort to reduce errors, entire orders will ship when able to be completed.

Any order cancellations or requests to change orders prior to shipping, regardless of reason, are subject to a $5 charge for processing.

By placing any order with Retro-Solutions, LLC through the web store or any other means or portal, you hereby authorize Retro-Solutions to ship with United States Postal Service, applicable foreign postal services or designated foreign entity for delivery, under the terms and conditions described under these policies. By purchasing you make agreement that Retro-Solutions, LLC is not responsible for errors in delivery, theft, loss, damage or delays caused by the United States Postal Service. Signature requirements, identification authorization, restrictions and carrier discretion are the sole responsibility of the US Postal Service and are in no way influenced or dictated by Retro-Solutions, LLC.

Domestic shipments over 13 ounces in weight are not eligible for First Class rates and are automatically charged and shipped at Priority Mail rates unless Express mail is chosen. All mail class rates are calculated automatically by US Postal Service provided software. In rare cases, shipping rates may be incorrectly calculated based on product dimensions and weight. In these cases, we reserve the right to bill or credit for these differences, and balances must be paid before items are released to the postal service. At no time are rates guaranteed delivery in certain time frames unless Express Mail is chosen. Express mail delivery times are 1-2 days for domestic locations as dictated by the US Postal Service based on location of delivery. Priority Mail averages 2-3 days delivery in most areas. Retro-Solutions, LLC will only use the delivery address as provided in payment or as verified under payment terms. In some cases this may differ from address formatting required by the US Postal Service in which the US Postal Service accepted format must be used. The accepted address format is the responsibility of the US Postal Service and is not able to be changed by Retro-Solutions, LLC.

International shipments over 4 pounds (1.8 kg) in weight are not eligible for First Class rates and are automatically charged and shipped at Priority Mail rates unless Express mail is chosen. All mail class rates are calculated automatically by US Postal Service provided software. In rare cases, shipping rates may be incorrectly calculated based on product dimensions and weight. In these cases, we reserve the right to bill or credit for these differences, and balances must be paid before items are released to the postal service. At no time are First Class International items eligible for insurance coverage or tracking, and Retro-Solutions, LLC bears no responsibility from any liability for loss, theft, delay, damage, or restrictions in delivery. At no time are delivery time frames guaranteed for international delivery, with Priority mail averaging 6-11 days in most countries, 5-10 for Express (EMS) rates. Retro-Solutions, LLC will only use the delivery address as provided in payment or as verified under payment terms. In some cases this may differ from address formatting required by the US Postal Service in which the US Postal Service accepted format must be used. The accepted address format is the responsibility of the US Postal Service and is not able to be changed by Retro-Solutions, LLC.

Returns due to incorrect addresses or incorrect address formatting are subject to additional shipping charges once corrected. Buyers are responsible for supplying correct address and recipient information at time of purchase, we can not guarantee ability to change recipient or address information before processing and/or shipping. Any request for change of address before shipping, regardless of reason, is subject to a $5 processing fee.

All international shipments are restricted to delivery at a verified billing address. A verified billing address is defined as verifiable by creditor or card issuing bank record only or PayPal confirmed address. There are no exceptions.

Payments:
We take fraud and internet commerce very seriously, and we do so to protect our clients and those people that may be the victims of identity theft. Retro-Solutions LLC reserves the right to hold payments, inquire about personal records for the purpose of identification, or limit the options of delivery for any payments or transactions suspected of fraud. Any orders for which payments require verification of billing address can only be shipped to the address verified by the issuing bank or company, no exceptions without proof from current public record will be made. We reserve the right to restrict delivery to verifiable addresses on any order, at any time, at our sole discretion.

Any payments returned, credited, made available under charge-backs or dispute resolutions by any third or fourth party companies, when in violation of Retro-Solutions, LLC policies, are subject to reporting for delinquency and collections regardless of reason.

Discounts offered to members of specific groups are available ONLY to members of those specific groups. If membership only requires public enrollment, you must be a member for 30 days or more to be eligible. Ineligible members, non-members, businesses, or groups discovered to have used member's only discounts are subject to automatic billing of the amount discounted and/or all warranty coverage to be immediately null and void.  

Product Returns:
If you unsure about a product's features, specifications, or warranty please ask before purchase, we are happy to help you out. In most cases the operation specifications of a product are listed on the product page. Retro-Solutions, LLC is not responsible for problems of compatibility even if operation specifics of a particular application are not known by the buyer. Once again, if you are unsure, for any reason, please ask for assistance.

Please note that whenever possible we will work with our customers to help in instances where the wrong product is ordered or compatibility issues specific to an application are not immediately apparent or known to the buyer. Retro-Solutions LLC and its partners are not responsible for determining the application, application specifics, possible restrictions, or required add-on and fixes of product installations, these are the sole responsibility of the customer.

All authorized returns are subject to inspection for should the equipment bear evidence of tampering or abuse.

For many products, returns are only accepted when there is an error in shipping or delivery of wrong product due to our error. Any product clearly labeled in a specific application as ordered is only returnable unopened and unused less actual shipping fees and 20% restocking within 7 days or arrival. This includes items purchased with "free shipping." Once opened or used, products are only covered by their warranty as we do not sell used equipment. Authorized exchanges for unopened and unused equipment are subject to charges for the actual shipping costs of the original item, however there are no restocking fees on exchanges.  

Warranty Coverage:
Specifics of coverage as follow are in addition to individual product warranty terms and descriptions, or in the absence of product specific terms and descriptions. Warranty coverages may be the same, however length or limitations in coverage are specified in each product's store link. At no time does Retro-Solutions, LLC cover or imply coverage of any parts or products not supplied directly by Retro-Solutions, LLC. The client is responsible for all shipping charges in sending warranty items for testing or inspection. Items covered under warranty for manufactured defects only will be shipped in return at the expense of Retro-Solutions, LLC and all other items returned are shipped at the client's expense.

HID Ballasts:
Coverage of the product against any manufactured defects that alter or change the operating condition rendering product incapable of performing its functions as intended. Coverage is limited to defects not caused by abuse, miss-use, acts of nature, accidents, use outside of unit specifications, use of product on non-conforming vehicle/system or use of the product other than intended. Vehicle related issues arising from connectivity or supply power issues resulting in engagement of product shutdown or other safety features, commonly referred to as "lock-up," are not covered as manufacturing defects.

HID Bulbs:
Coverage of the product against any
manufactured defects that alter or change the operating condition rendering product incapable of performing its functions as intended. Coverage is limited to defects not caused by abuse, miss-use, acts of nature, accidents, use outside of unit specifications, use of product on non-conforming vehicle/system or use of the product other than intended. Bulb scorching caused by improper power supply,or  pulsed voltage systems are not covered under warranty. Color divergence between bulbs paired together in kits greater than 400K CCT at anytime are covered under warranty. Bulbs naturally diminish and change color very slowly with use as occurs by natural process, therefore uniform changes in intensity and color over time are not covered under warranty.

LED Bulbs:
Coverage of the product against any
manufactured defects that alter or change the operating condition rendering product incapable of performing its functions as intended. Coverage is limited to defects not caused by electrostatic discharge, abuse, miss-use, acts of nature, accidents, use outside of unit specifications, use of product on non-conforming vehicle/system or use of the product other than intended.

HPX Bulbs:
Coverage of the product against any
manufactured defects that alter or change the operating condition rendering product incapable of performing its functions as intended. Coverage is limited to defects not caused by abuse, miss-use, acts of nature, accidents, use outside of unit specifications, use of product on non-conforming vehicle/system or use of the product other than intended. Bulbs naturally diminish and change color very slowly with use as occurs by natural process, therefore such changes are not covered under warranty.

CCFL rings and Inverters:
Coverage of the product against any
manufactured defects that alter or change the operating condition rendering product incapable of performing its functions as intended. Coverage is limited to defects not caused by abuse, miss-use, acts of nature, accidents, use outside of unit specifications, use of product on non-conforming vehicle/system or use of the product other than intended. Inverters shorted from reverse voltage or pulsed voltage operation. Rings naturally diminish and change color very slowly with use as occurs by natural process, therefore such changes are not covered under warranty.

Bulb Adapters:
Coverage of the product against any
manufactured defects that alter or change the operating condition rendering product incapable of performing its functions as intended. Coverage is limited to defects not caused by abuse, miss-use, acts of nature, accidents, use outside of unit specifications, use of product on non-conforming vehicle/system or use of the product other than intended.

Packaging Materials, Materials in Print, and Materials of Installation:
Any materials used for packaging and/or shipping are not covered under any warranty, including cases, foam padding, covers, etc. Items in print, publications, fliers, coupons, endorsements, etc. are not covered under warranty. Items of installation such as screws, plastic fasteners, bolts, and nylon ties are not covered under warranty. Bulb adapters are not covered under warranty except for breakage occurring during installation directly related to manufacturing defect only. Wiring is covered under warranty within 30 days of receipt with exception to any modifications made before or after sale and limited to
manufactured defects that alter or change the operating condition of the wiring.

Any items not provided by Retro-Solutions directly are not covered under any warranty. 

Product Descriptions and Limits of Liability:
Item descriptions and web store content are subject to change to keep current with changes in product design, parts, or specifics of operation.  Products may differ from those pictured or depicted in product descriptions, all photos are intended for example purposes only unless otherwise indicated.  From time to time there may be changes in product contents or offerings. Changes in description, product, product content, or product offerings does not entitle clients or customers to free product, store discounts, rebates, nor upgrades.

Some vehicles may have special requirements for proper operation or in order to provide for requirements specified by a particular products. Client and customers are solely responsible for identifying or providing for product compatibility in all circumstances.  At times Retro-Solutions, LLC owners, employees, or representatives may offer advice or particular solutions to overcome issue of compatibility when presented. Retro-Solutions, LLC is not responsible for injury or damage to products resulting from advice not followed, follow incorrectly, or not carried out in a timely manner. Retro-Solutions, LLC is not responsible for injury or damage to products resulting from the advice of others.
