At 35 watts of true output power, and AC operation, these ballasts will offer more light than over-rated HID kits on the market and bulbs will last longer than more common DC output ballasts used in inexpensive kit options. The ballasts are internally potted with a thermally conductive rubberized compound for full waterproof, dustproof, and shakeproof protection. Bulbs in these kits are controlled to lower levels of variance, all within +/- 200 lm (brightness) and +/- 300K CCT (color). Average lifespan rating is 2000 hrs, compared to similar claims by other generics that most often fall way short.
