INDICATIONS: For use with some newer vehicles with longevity increasing pulsed voltage to headlamps For use with newer vehicles with pulsed voltage to control daytime running lamps. For use on vehicles with bixenon HID systems installed that exhibit a power loss when switching between beam modes. Some newer vehicle systems provide pulsed voltage to headlamp circuits instead of constant voltage for a variety of reasons. The result is a drop in system output, stressed ballasts, failure to ignite, or constant flickering on/off.
HOW TO USE for SINGLE BEAM HID: -For use with a wiring harness, order the corresponding harness application (if you do not have it already) and one capacitor link for the same bulb application from the dropdown menu below -For use without a wiring harnes, order 2 capacitor links in the same application as bulb type from the dropdown menu below.
HOW TO USE for BIXENON HID: -Generally only required for operation of low beams in bixenon and single beam kits, or on beams with daytime running lamps that an HID kit may be installed. Capacitors are wired between (+) trigger and (-) ground on bixenon systems using a relay wiring harness. Select the -- option from the dropdown menu below. CAUTIONS: Capacitors of this type (electrolytic) are polarity sensitive, reverse polarity will lead to failure of the capacitor. A capacitor installed incorrectly will smoke, fizzle, possibly even pop. The (-) lead on the capacitor is marked by a white, silver, or black line/arrow.
Each order Includes: - 1x 6800uF electrolytic capacitor rated 25v or higher - 1yr. Warranty
